Late bloomers emerge

Mid-September is a little late for it, but we have a few dahlias that have just produced their first bloom- like the big dinner-plate size pink ones,

The first of the medium-size pale yellow ones have emerged as a trio:
According to the American Dahlia Society, the shape of these dahlia is known as "incurved cactus," according to the ADS. This shape is described as:
Ray florets are pointed, uniform in length; they uniformly curve toward the face of the bloom, are revolute for the majority of their length and are fully revolute for at least half their length."
