MCA Denver

My friend Marc took me to the new Museum of Contemporary Art - Denver last week. Here I am on the top level outside the cafe. The building architect is David Adjaye.

Golden Gate Ave scene

NoPa glamour on Golden Gate Ave: blowing plastic sheets, a port-a-potty, and a big black suv with fancy rims.

Saturday in the Park with (Gilbert and) George

Saturday was a great day to check out the Gilbert & George show at the DeYoung. Here are our bikes out front at the spiral bike rack. With the Annie Liebowitz show out at the Palace, seems like all of the museums are featuring L/G artists.

Next show: LGCSF Does it Again! April 11-12

Here's info for my next show. We're reprising Trial By Jury! It is very likely that I will again play the foreman/bartender role with the brief solos. It is entertaining, so check us out! Here are some details from our PR Committee:
The Lesbian/Gay Chorus of San Francisco, under the direction of Stephanie Lynne Smith, proudly presents "LGCSF Does It Again", a special benefit show featuring best-loved songs of the musical season, on April 11 and 12, 8 pm, at Theatre Rhinoceros, 2926 16th Street at South Van Ness, San Francisco. All tickets are $20, available through or by phone, 1-800-838-3006.

Take a walk down short-term memory lane as LGCSF performs selections ranging from the lyrical to the laughable, with fully choreographed numbers generously thrown into the mix. The show features a special encore performance of "Trial By Jury", the Gilbert & Sullivan operetta deranged by Artistic Director Stephanie Lynne Smith and Assistant Artistic Director Michael Anthony Schuler. Stage Director and Choreographer Michael Mohammed brilliantly brings this 1875 classic into the queer present. Here's a rare opportunity to revisit your favorite performances!

Masonic Ave - things are happening

Neighbors and schools are coming together to demand fixes for Masonic Ave, a scary street with lots of fast traffic. This has been amazing to watch and I hope to get more involved.
